Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson - Day 2
I've decided to sketch something each night from our bedtime reading (Laurie Halse Anderson's Chains). Below is the scene which had the most impact on me from last night's reading. Isabel, covering for Ruth's giggle, is slapped across the face by Mrs. Lockton.

I agree, this idea is great! I bet the girls love seeing these drawings after reading the chapter the night before.
