Maso Con Queso

This is an illustration I did for my little nephew.  I made one for his sister this past Christmas, and now it's his turn.

Yes, he likes helicopters.  :)   (By the way, it's a cell phone pic, so it may not be the best quality; sorry, I was short for time.)

Waterslide

Sarah, thanks for the inspiration!

Illustration Friday - Bicycle

Sometimes it's tough being the big sister.  Especially, when your little sister wants everything you have.  Unfortunately, big sis is still too little herself to realize that little sis idolizes her.

Riding away on your bike is one of the few things you can do to escape a little sister's grabby clutches ... that is until the little sister is big enough to follow on her bike.   At that point, all bets are off.

Illustration Friday - Journey

We are so often caught up in our destination that we forget to appreciate the journey.

Appreciate the journey.
You never know what you may find along the way.

That'll do pig

Still feeling inspired by Wyeth to tackle drawing something other than kiddos.  This guy ended up looking like James Cromwell to me.

Betrayed Sketch

After some light reading about N.C. Wyeth today, I was inspired to try my hand at a more serious, more intense subject.  I had fun with it.  I think I'm going to play with this style a bit more.  Check out Smells Like Crayons on Friday for a little color added to this piece.
