I'm thinking of turning this into this month's mailing. Is it exciting enough, does it feel stagnant, are the expressions on the characters varied enough, etc., etc. I wanted to get some feedback at this stage before I ink it. Thanks!

I'm going to be completely honest and please remember this is only my opinion.
I think the idea of having the kids be the thanksgiving dinner for the turkeys is a little too strong. I don't know, I think it's a bit too scary. Remember that you are trying to sell yourself as a children's illustrator so children are top priority. Maybe if you show this to kids they will be frightened by it.
I don't know... this are just my thoughts. The drawing is lovely and very well done.:o)
But if it were me, I wouldn't use it for a postcard.

Yeah, I guess you're probably right. I thought it was silly, not scary, but it might be construed that way to kids.

Sorry to have discouraged you to send this, it is very well drawn and the expression of the turkeys are really very good. Just that I didn't think it would be a good idea for a postcard.
Did you see my comment below? The other illos of the girl and boy running behind the turkey are wonderful. Perhaps you want to work something out with those.
