Moleskine sketches - Girl with hair tied up

I've been working on a series of images, but they aren't quite ready to post yet; however, I wanted to post something ... so here are a few really rough sketches from my Moleskine.  Just practicing expressions, and profiles.

I love to see sketches - keep them coming!

I often find it difficult to get the same expression in the finished work as in my sketches. Do you have any words of advice on this? It's frustrating!

Lovely sketches, I like the hair, it flows very natural.

I have the same problem sometimes as Judy, but I find my light box very helpful in this. And I think drawing your character a lot makes it crawl in to your pen and comes out a lot easier, if you know what I mean! :)
