Holiday Program

This is the program that I made for my daughter's kindergarten holiday program. It's kind of hard to keep it neutral and still in the spirit of the holidays, but I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.

An enormous THANK YOU to all of you who voted for Bella Upside Down in the ABC Children's Picture Book Competition!!! Summer and I really appreciate all the support you've shown us these past two weeks!!! (Aren't you thrilled, no more annoying "please vote" emails!! :) )

Also huge shout out to Rita Mills the organizer of the competition! She is a lovely person, who has given all of us the opportunity of a lifetime. Thanks Rita for all your hard work!!

Now we wait .... the results will be announced at the end of the month! Keep those fingers crossed!

Update: Unfortunately, we didn't win this time around. However, it was a great learning experience. Thanks again to all of you who supported us!

ABC Children's Picture Book Competition

The ABC Children's Picture Book Competition is in full swing now. It's killing me not knowing how we're doing. I'm dying for the play by play. ha ha!

I'm having fun, sending out press releases, uploading trailers, making coloring sheets, tweeting, FB'ing, etc. etc. At the very least, Summer and I can feel proud of ourselves for giving it our all!!

Thank goodness my friends and family can put up with the constant reminders "Please vote, " "Did you vote today, " "Vote, vote, vote." (We'll see if they still can stand me by the end of two weeks!!)
