Playing around with painting this sad little girl. Started with just the black prismacolor after sketch, followed by an ink wash, and then added a little blue. Couldn't resist adding the red barrette.
Hey Michelle , Oh my goodness if this isn't the cutest. I wonder what happened to make her so sad??? This is such a fine character indeed. I really love the blue feeling. This really evokes a sad, blue feeling and questions too. Great illustration.
