Illustration Friday - Garden

I've not been feeling too well, so here is a birthday post card that I just did for my niece and I thought it would fit well with the IF theme of garden. I'm looking forward to Spring, not our mud-season spring necessarily, but the part of Spring where the flowers start poking out their little heads again, birds begin singing, and I can shed my coat and walk outside again. ahhh.

Michelle,
what delightful scene! It filled
my heart with joy, because I also
long for Spring! Your niece will
be very happy to receive her card.

I can't wait for spring too! I really like the little girl's pose and expression, in such a lovely garden.

Hi, this is great. Nice pose and good expression and bright colors to make a lovely, engaging scene. One thing I noticed is I am reading the word 'whim' to the immediate right of the girl's right arm as we view the picture. Maybe I am seeing things but I like it a whole lot that there may be a word there that is adding to the scene. Good job!
