Our little cowgirl

Our little cowgirl turned TEN this past week.  It's hard to believe that she's been in our lives for that long.  It sure doesn't feel that way.  Love you babe.

Smells Like Crayons

Yup.  You heard me.  I said "Smells Like Crayons."   I'm back on the blog.  My crazy life has calmed down enough for me to commit to a regular posting schedule.  And today is day numero uno!

Today, I'm talking about the postcard mailer I'm working on ... I'd love for you to check it out, and tell me what you think...

Sketching - Cold Press vs. Hot Press

I love cold press, but I don't the shadows that remain after I scan.  Urgh.  Does anyone have any tips for keeping the shadows out of the scans?

Don't get me wrong, I like Hot Press too, but would like to figure out a way to fix the problems with cold press.

And the winner is ....

The fabulous Andi Butler is the winner of Hidden NJ!

Andi, if you'd message me your address, I'll get your book out to you asap!

Thanks to Charlesbridge Publishing for allowing us a copy for our drawing.  And thanks again to Hazel Mitchell for stopping by the blog to let us into her world!  Congrats on your book, Hazel, and I'm looking forward to what wonders you'll be sharing with us next!
